Marianela Orozco (Cuba, 1973). My work is a personal inquiry into the states of rupture and equilibrium present in nature as in society. Within the current whirl, this observation often leads to a deep uncertainty, in which those points of no progress that could precede the change emerge sometimes. I’m interested in those moments when everything seems to pause. Living beings, objects, natural processes or my own body are my most recurrent work tools.
